Jeffl's love for photography started when he moved to California. He has always loved the outdoors and has made his passion for photographing nature a hobby and a career. His intention for each photo is to capture nature in a way that is so beautiful that it does not just hang on someone’s wall but pushes them to get out and see it for themselves. He believes Mother Nature is the most beautiful portrait and he wants to capture every second of it. The hard part he has is not living his life through the lens but enjoying every second while capturing a moment in time. He has never had any training yet he is always studying new ways and new techniques to push himself; his admiration is of Ansel Adams who once said "A photograph is usually looked at - seldom looked into". His dream would be to capture one photo that he can say "Ansel would love that".

Bryce Johnson is a 25-year-old photographer whose style is artfully simple, yet boasts bold, dynamic colors and intriguing scenes. “I’m really into negative space in my photographs and just letting the image breathe,” he says. “I like capturing the moments in between the action.” Johnson grew up on Kauai and spent his youth surfing and drumming in local bands. After high school, he bounced from Bible College in Australia to music school in Los Angeles, and then moved back to Kauai to surf and live the dream. In 2007, he moved to San Diego “on a whim” to pursue a degree in photography. He interned at SURFER Magazine in 2010 and currently works for a commercial and editorial photographer where he’s refining his studio skills. Johnson’s work has been featured in SURFER Magazine. as well as in popular surf and photography blogs like Saturdays New York City and Korduroy TV. “The ocean is always at the core of my photography,” he says. “The constantly changing colors and conditions always inspire me.”

A bit about me... my love of taking photos began while shooting pictures of my three children. I love capturing people being themselves. I believe we each have a story to tell about our lives and photography helps express that story. My other passions include hiking, camping, dancing, surfing & music. I am happiest when outside playing with my family. I can't imagine life without my faith and good coffee.

As I write this I am twitching from a grande blackeye in a venti cup with white chocolate sauce, room for cream, whip cream and caramel drizzle :) I stepped behind a kodak easy share one day and that was it. I grew up in the mountains in Bishop, CA and have grown to really appreciate and find beauty. The thought that someone could look back on a wedding, or event, or engagement, or particular portrait and feel that moment is something I take seriously. There is something very valuable in a well-captured moment. Working with such a good friend is also just cherries on the proverbial cake, or latte, or whatever I guess. And because of that dang coffee drink, which I also am very passionate about, I wrote that all in 16.7 seconds. BOOM!

The savior complex and adventurous spirit wears off after about six months and you start scrambling around looking for something to hold on to while trying to fix the world’s problems. You quickly learn that the only way to help is to give up. We can only attempt to transform lives as we make ourselves vulnerable enough to be transformed in the process. For me, El Salvador has meant vulnerability. We are physically, financially, linguistically and spiritually vulnerable. This openness and dependence is the only thing that has allowed me to best interact with God’s story in El Salvador.

Photos tell stories. El Salvador opened my eyes to the world’s story; a world where Coca Cola is more common than clean water and if you own a car you are in the top 10% of the world’s wealth. I pray that my photos help communicate grace and joy in a place where these elements don't seem prevalent.

Sebastian has captured photos all over the world from New Zealand to Alaska. The unique and ephemeral quality of every moment in time has shown him that each day provides a beautiful opportunity to change the world. Witnessing life in a snapshot in various corners of the earth has shown him that life is too short to not effect change. His relationship with His Lord Jesus Christ has brought him to clearly see life in this way. He is currently serving as a missionary in Waterford, Ireland, while photographing its beauty.

Graduated from college this past May, Kara is eager to step out into the professional world. Others remind her how difficult it is to make a career out of photography, that she should keep it simply as a hobby, but more than anything she has decided that she wants to spend her life pursuing her passions and doing what she loves. She wholeheartedly believes in doing what you love and loving what you do. Life is to be enjoyed. Most importantly, her plan is to prepare herself to live life to the fullest, to be involved in her community, locally and globally, and to make a positive impact on the people she encounters along the way. In many small ways she is trying to do that today with her photographic work.

Cynthia’s love for photography began when she was young. The time she spent with her mother and grandmother digging through old photo boxes and looking at unfinished photo albums introduced her to the stories and emotions contained within photographs. The look in their eyes as they perused the pictures enabled her to appreciate a photo as much more than just a picture of a moment. The memories evoked for them inspired her to start making memories of her own. With her first film SLR she started taking pictures as a teenager, fueled by her own excitement and ability to learn. After the birth of her son, she took a black and white film class in order to expand her knowledge of photography. Since then, she has been taking pictures everyday so she can transform a picture of a moment into a special memory for all who see it.
